| Winemaker's Dinner, Austrian Wine Festival |
Take some time to celebrate exquisite Austrian Wines with a series of winemaker’s dinners hosted by participating restaurants, as part of Austrian Wine Festival happening from 17 Feb to 17 March.
As part of the festival, these special winemaker’s dinners will highlight wineries such as Johanneshof Reinisch, Jurtschitsch, Markowitsch and Tement. In particular, don’t miss Austrian Cuisine, Refined happening at Les Amis on 18 Feb ($288++). This seven-course wine dinner presents Austrian cuisine from Les Amis’ Chef de Cuisine Armin Leitgeb together with 1-Michelin star chef Christian Winkler from Restaurant Schindlhaus in Austria. Together they’ll be presenting classic Austrian dishes paired with Tement vintages, with owner Armin Tement present for the dinner.
Another highlight is the Winemaker’s Dinner with Markowitsch at Tippling Club on 8 March ($185++). This six-course dinner from Chef Ryan Clift is curated with his unique creations and paired with wines from Markowitsch. Gerhard Markowitsch from the Markowitsch vineyards will also be at the Winemaker’s Dinner at Peace Blossoms on 9 March ($108++), where the six-course Chinese dinner will be paired with wines from the vineyard in an exotic pairing that will leave you wanting more.
