For the month of November, pick up tips and tricks from culinary expert – Executive Chef Yves Schmid of Senso Ristorante and Bar. He will demonstrate how mussels should be best prepared and how you can do it in the comfort of your home with finesse.
Born in South Korea and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, Executive Chef Yves Schmid of Senso, honed his skills in renowned establishments such as Domaine de Chateauvieux, Hotel Richemond and L’Evidence in Geneva. Together with Senso Holdings, he opened Senso (Cras-Montana) at the renowned Swiss ski resort in 2009. He then joined Senso (Singapore) as Executive Chef at late 2010. Taking delight in surprising diners, the 36-year old lends his creative touches to the favourites of Senso.

He strongly believes that ‘just as good food should be shared, the know-how should also be spread amongst the like-minded’. Through the Cooking with appetite classes, he is excited about educating a wider group of consumers on the finer points of good food.
