Tuna Salad Drizzled with Soy Lime Dressing

Ingredients:

1/4 Daikon (white radish)

1/4 Carrrot

4 Tbs Furikake

1 piece Tuna

Oil, for frying

1/3 cup Coriander Leaves

1 Nori Sheet (shredded)

For the soy lime dressing:

2 Tsp Soy Sauce

2 Tsp Lime Jus

1cm piece Ginger (finely grated)

1/2 Birdseye Chili (finely chopped)

1 Tsp Olive Oil

1/2 Tsp Sesame Oil

 

Method:

1) Use a vegetable peeler or a mandolin to form long thin strips from the daikon and carrot. Place vegetables in a bowl of ice cold water.

2) Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add tuna; cook for 20sec on each side until golden all over. Place furikake on a flat plate and turn the tuna to coat. Slice thickly to serve.

3) To make dressing, place all ingredients in a small bowl; whisk to combine.

4) Drain daikon and place into a bowl. Add coriander, shredded nori and dressing and toss to combine. Serve salad topped with sliced tuna.
